SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION OPENS TUESDAY, MARCH 4
At Henry Park Camp campers enjoy theme days, outdoor time and physical fitness activities, arts & crafts, swimming, group games and sports, and many more fun activities throughout the summer! Outdoor facilities feature the newly renovated Horowitz Pool, playground, fields for games, basketball court, volleyball court, and Hartmann Pavilion.
Location: 120 South Street (Henry Park Pavilion)
In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held at a local elementary school (announced the day before). Drop-off and Pick-up will occur at the designated school on those days.
Grades: Entering grades 1-6 for the '25-'26 school year.
When registering, your child's grade should reflect their current (Spring 2024) school grade. MyRec will automatically progress grades on July 1. Sessions 1 & 2 reflect the grade they are in currently; Sessions 3-7 reflect the grade for the upcoming school year.
Camp Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm. Drop-off is between 8:00am - 9:00am; Pick-up at 4:00pm
Program runs Monday - Thursday. There is no camp on Fridays
Registration & Payment:
Registering by May 18: Balance may be paid in full, or a 50% deposit may be made to hold a spot. All remaining balances are due in full by Sunday, June 1. Registrations with unpaid balances after this date will be cancelled and the deposit applied as a credit on your MyRec account.
Registering after May 18: Full balance is due at the time of registration. No spots are held without payment.
If you are interested in applying for a camp scholarship, please contact the Vernon Social Services Department beginning February 18th at (860) 870-3661 to set up an appointment for eligibility screening.
