The Town of Vernon would like to invite you to the 79th annual July in the Sky Fireworks
July 9th (rain date July 10th)
Fireworks show will begin after 9:00pm pending on darkness
Henry Park
* Gates open at 6:00pm
* Gates will close for entrance at 9pm or when park is full, whichever occurs first
* Car Entrance Fee: Cost $10 Cash Only (once parked, you cannot leave the event until the fireworks show is over at approximately 10pm)
*Walk In Entrance Fee: Cost $2/person Cash Only
Food Court & Music- sponsored by Scranton Motors
- Live music by "TOP" band starting at 7:00pm
- Food vendors consisting of ice cream, fried dough, chicken tenders, bbq and much more!
Fun Zone - sponsored by
-Fun Zone runs from 6:00-9:00pm
-All-access bracelets sold on site for $15 Cash Only
-A variety of inflatables, games & activities
-Food vendors
-Novelty toys/items for sale
-Face paint (Included in wrist band purchase)
Downtown Rockville
Push, Pedal, Pull Patriotic Parade
-Kids of all ages bring a non-motorized mode of transportation to parade (wagons, strollers, bikes, trikes, skateboards, roller blades, etc.)
-5:00-6:00pm Decorating
-6:00-6:30pm Judging
-6:30pm Parade Begins
-All entries must have Red, White, and Blue decorations or clothing to participate. No pre-registration required
