The Reading Trail

The Reading Trail provides families the opportunity to enjoy nature while reading a story together.

The Reading Trail is just over 1/2 in length and located at Dart Hill Park. Pages from a children's book are spaced amongst 20 posts.  The story starts and ends at the Dart Hill Park Parking lot next to the pedestrian bridge.

The Reading Trail is made available through a partnership with Rockville Public Library.

New books will be placed several times throughout the year. Make sure to follow Vernon Parks and Recreation on Facebook or know when a new book is posted.
