Cool off this summer at Community Pool, Newhoca Park or Horowitz Pool.
FACILITY INFORMATION
We have a few helpful tips to remember before visiting any of the aquatic sites this summer.
- Alcoholic beverages and smoking/vaping of any kind is not permitted on Town owned property. All violations are immediately reported to the Vernon Police Department.
- Anyone 12 years old and under, must be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older.
- Swim suits are required. Non-swim clothing is not allowed in the water.
- Inexperienced swimmers should be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian at all times.
- A 1 to 3 parent/guardian to child (under 13 years old) ratio must be maintained.
- USCG approved life jackets are permitted. Flotation toys are not permitted.
- If you are a business/summer camp and are planning to visit with a group of 10 or more please email us at parksandrec@vernon-ct.gov at least two weeks prior to ensure we can accommodate your visit.

COMMUNITY POOL DEPTH MARKINGS
Kiddie pool (ages 5 and under): 0'0" entry, 1'0"
Main pool: 3'0", 4'6", 5'0"
ADMISSION FEES:
Cash only. We cannot accept bills larger than $20
DAILY ADMISSION
Daily facility admission is paid on-site upon arrival.
Ages 12 and under is $3
Ages 13 and up is $5
Family day pass (four total people living within the same house) is $10
SEASON PASS INFORMATION
Season passes will be available for purchase starting June 29. Season passes are available to purchase for Vernon residents only. State issued photo ID is required at the time of purchase. Season passes can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office in Henry Park or at one of the aquatic facilities. Season passes are for use during public swim hours only.
INDIVIDUAL PASS
Valid for one individual throughout the season.
- Ages 12 and under is $30
- Ages 13 and up is $50
FAMILY SEASON PASS
$120
Family members must reside in the same home. This pass covers two adults and two children, OR one adult and three children. If there are additional children in your home, individual family season passes may be added for $15 per child.
GENERAL SCHEDULE
Weather and other circumstances may impact the facility schedule. We encourage you to check our website prior to visiting an aquatic location. If a facility must close unexpectedly an alert will be placed on our homepage.
